About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Paid Media to lead our agency’s paid media department. As the Director of Paid Media, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive paid media strategies across multiple channels, including but not limited to search engines, social media, display, and influencers. You will be responsible for managing our small internal team, collaborating with other departments within the agency and leveraging outside Partners to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement paid media strategies that align with clients’ marketing goals and objectives.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of paid media professionals and external partners, providing guidance and feedback to optimize performance.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets to ensure maximum return on investment for clients.
Analyze data and provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders on the effectiveness of paid media campaigns. - Collaborate with other departments, including creative, account management, and sales to ensure cohesive and effective client strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the paid media landscape, and provide recommendations for improvements to our agency’s paid media offerings.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to agency-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with our sister company, Blueprint, to advance the product.

What You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in paid media, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
Extensive knowledge of paid media platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn and programmatic display advertising. - Extensive knowledge of ad tracking/pixeling via Google Analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful paid media strategies across multiple channels and industries.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
